CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being shot Saturday at a Charlotte nightclub where rappers T.I., Young Jeezy and Yo Gotti were advertised to appear, a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police spokesman said.
The Charlotte Observer reports a popular club at the N.C. Music Factory complex was hosting a "CIAA Weekend Takeover" party when shots rang out about 7 p.m. The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association has been holding its annual basketball tournament in Charlotte this week.
It's unclear whether the party was an officially sanctioned CIAA event.
