    MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Manchester police said a 2-year-old boy was hit by a minivan Saturday morning and is now in a Boston hospital with serious injuries.

Police said they responded to an unresponsive toddler brought to the Elliot Hospital around 9:12 a.m.

A preliminary investigation indicated that a woman driving a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country minivan was backing out of a residential garage when it hit the toddler.

After being brought to the Elliot the victim was then taken to Boston. The identity of the victim and the driver are being withheld for now.

Police are investigating the accident and ask that anyone with information about it to call the Manchester Police Department at 603-668-8711.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information is made available.
