    SOMERVILLE, Mass. —
A man was killed while trespassing Monday on train tracks about 500 yards from the Park Street grade crossing in Somerville, transit police said.

The man was hit by a Fitchburg Line Train around 12:20 p.m. Officials said he was pronounced dead as a result of the injuries he sustained.

Investigators from the transit police and the Middlesex DA's Office are investigating the death, but at this time they say foul play is not believed to be a factor.
