    Kilvinsky I think, therefore I'll never be promoted.

    This is one of those institutions that seem to FEAR that evil Fascist word, "POLICE", but these folks ARE cops.

    Public Safety Officers are responsible for basic safety and security duties, including responding to emergency situations, patrolling campus buildings and grounds, responding to inquiries and requests for non-emergency services, investigating accidents and injuries, enforcing external laws and internal regulations, and assisting with programs to educate students, faculty and staff about personal safety.

    - High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of related experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    - Valid driver's license.
    - Willingness and ability to work flexible and/or additional hours.
    - Sound judgment and excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
    - Upon hire, must be able to obtain and retain authority as a "Special State Police Officer."
